Being an organized person, I am often the person designated to take minutes at a meeting, which I am happy to do.

However, this ends up being problematic when I am facilitating the meeting and writing notes up on a flipchart or whiteboard.

Reducing Stress, Planning Meals

I really don't care for cooking much, but don't mind if there is a plan. However, it ends up that we don't have anything to eat because I'm not organized in my approach. Mix that with a busy schedule, and pretty soon you have hungry family and a stressed-out home! Here's something that's working better for our family now… menus planned out til September!

Sticky Note Task System

Some people like to pick organizers that are colorful and fun. (I never could understand why people would buy the standard one-color planners year after year.)

Being the type that gets bored easily, I got a new planner every year, the most colorful one I could find. But now that I make my own planners, I've decided to try out a new system using colored sticky notes to make planning fun!
