Thrive 2008 is over!
The spiritual life/leadership development conference at Bayside Church was a tremendous time of celebration, inspiration, challenge, conviction, and equipping of people from all walks of life.
Although a year-long effort, the bulk of the work came starting in
January when the planning team began meeting (after our crazy fall of
10 events in 10 weeks and 11 Christmas Eve services!).
Here's a behind-the-scenes look of some of the stories that you never hear about up front, with lots of pictures so you can experience the event. Unfortunately there is not room to document the hundreds of details, stories, and people involved, but here are some highlights!

I have always had a fascination with little drawers. They are pretty handy for holding odds and ends and cute, to boot! Using smaller spaces also helps you stay more organized because items don’t get lumped together.

Who says you need to spend money to be organized?
We all know how easily drawers get messy. Items get mixed up, and it’s
made worse when we’re in a hurry and dig through the drawer to find
things.

This is a guest post by Corrie Haffly, who describes an outstanding event her church did for New Year's Eve. Thank you, Corrie! Every year at First Baptist Church of Davis, CA, the youth staff and a
host of other volunteers put on a New Year’s Eve event for junior high
and high school students. |
